1. NASSCOM
NASSCOM is offering free AI and Data Science courses. These courses that usually charge up to INR 7000, are currently available for free. You can learn various aspects of artificial intelligence such as AI trends and impact and career opportunities in the industry. You can also understand the impact that statistics has on AI research. The courses also teach Python as an AI Tool. The six courses available are:
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)
– SQL and Relational Databases 101
– Python for Data Science
– Algorithms
– Statistics 101
– Data Visualization with Python.

2. SWAYAM
The SWAYAM platform is an MHRD initiative. It offers UGC’s course material as pdf and explanatory lecture videos from industry leaders. Not all courses on the portal are certificate-based, but they are more like help to UG/PG students of all streams. Some courses on the other hand, like those of Digital Marketing, Artificial Intelligence or Cybersecurity, are certificate-based. The UGC MOOCs portal is a vertical of the SWAYAM initiative of MHRD.

3. ICT
The ICT Initiative is another of MHRD initiatives. It provides online classes on various technological aspects like AI, computer languages and even DTH Industry. It is a part and parcel of the Swayam program. Simultaneously, students can download textbooks and reading material from the designated libraries. The portal has courses in affiliation with NIOS, IIMB, NPTEL and Fossee, Vlab etc. Begin learning from here.
4. iGOT
The iGOT platform is available on the DIKSHA Portal. The Department of Personnel and Training launched this platform to help in training frontline staff against COVID-19. It provides training and updates in coping with the pandemic. The 15+ courses are available in English and regional languages. It provides bite-sized lectures and self-paced learning. Teachers, doctors, nurses, paramedics, NCC staff etc can take online courses and be a part of the country’s fight against COVID-19.
5. AICTE ELIS Portal Launched
The All India Council for Technical Education launched an online training platform. They named it “Enhancement in Learning with Improvement In Skills (ELIS)”. Further, it offers free online courses from a single platform. These courses are sourced from 18 leading Ed-tech companies. These companies include edX, Guvi, Simpliv, Great Learning, etc. They are available for free till 15 May 2020. Enrol for the courses here.
