CENTRALISED PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND REDRESSAL MECHANISM SYSTEM FOR PUBLIC (CPGRAMS)

Public Grievances Redressal is one of the flagship initiatives for the reformation in governance started by the Indian central government through addressing the grievances of general public. It was created in June 2007 by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances. Under the public grievance mechanism any citizen of India can raise their problems, grievance or pleas to the central govt and state government Ministries and Departments. Grievances can be submitted to all important portfolio ministers and departments. The system has been designed in-house by the National Informatics Centre team. It has a telephonic feedback feature also.^[1][2][3]

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the supreme head of the public grievances. Jitendra Singh is currently the Minister for Independent Charge for grievances public personnel and pension Department and Sumita Dasgupta is its deputy secretary.

GENERATION YUVA

Working with the sole aim of helping child-beggars lead the normal lives they deserve, Generation Yuvaa NGO marks a decade of starting off at the grass-root level of this huge challenge.
It all started when the Founder of the NGO, Naresh, quit his plans of higher studies and dedicated his life to understanding and fighting the issues that endanger children’s future in the city. In the year 2007, fueled by his desire to give back to the society, Naresh along with Rakesh, founded the Welfare Society, Generation Yuvaa.
Noting that the most affected lot were the children begging on the streets, they decided to rehabilitate them through the NGO Generation Yuvaa. However noble the idea was, implementation was not easy. The kids resisted leaving their source of income, their parents harassed them and the society didn’t approve of having such delinquents staying nearby. But Generation Yuvaa’s core team persevered and today, nearly 5 years after the establishment of this welfare home, they are happy to have reduced the number of child beggars in the city by 80%.

5. Atal Incubation Centres (AIC)

AIC is a scheme for entities like higher educational institutions, R&D institutes, corporate sector, alternative investment funds registered with SEBI, business accelerators, group of individuals, and individuals who can apply to establish an AIC and get grant-in-aid of ₹10 Cr for a maximum of five years.
