Pay Scale: This post is set under pay band of Rs. 29300 to 34800 plus 4200 grade pay.

Age limit: Age to be Sub Inspector in Delhi police is 20 to 25 as on 1/8/2012. Candidates who belongs to SC/ST/OBC have relaxed with upper age according to the rules.

Educational qualification: Graduation

Physical Standards for male: Height should be at least 170 cms, chest -81 and expanded upto 85 cms. In case candidates applying under reserved category are relaxed( height 165 cms, chest 76 and expandable 80 cms ) as per rules.

Physical Standards for female: Height 157 cms and 152 for those who applying with reserved category certificate.
